The personal data entered by you in conjunction with your submission of a work for the STARTS Prizes consideration will be processed in compliance with legal provisions governing data protection (General Data Protection Regulation, EU 2016/679, Data Protection Law).
Your personal data are processed for the purpose of conducting the STARTS Prizes competition and, in order to achieve this objective, may be forwarded to third parties. In case these data are forwarded to third parties, we assure you that they will comply with the General Data Protection Regulation.
An entry that you submit to the STARTS Prizes as well as the personal data pertaining to it (including photos and/or video & audio recordings) may be stored to memory in the Ars Electronica Archive by Ars Electronica Linz GmbH & Co KG. In this connection, we explicitly state that personal data that are processed for archival purposes in the public interest, for purposes of scientific or historical research or for statistical purposes do not have to be deleted, even upon receipt of a request to do so.
